Staten Island-based contemporary R&B and Hip-Hop singer-songwriter Jordan Barone has unveiled a new song “Up Tonight” via streaming music services.
The song is the second single off his upcoming as-yet-untitled debut EP, following the debut song "Same Thing".
Jordan Barone wrote the song with his older brother Stefan Barone. The track is hip-hop sound with his smooth vocals and dynamic synths.
Jordan Barone told Vents Magazine about song in an interview:
"I wanted to explore the common approach to pursuing a woman, but offer how time with me might be different. It echoes what I have felt when I was out and single. I was tired of the parties with fake fun and fake people, and started leaning more towards genuine conversation and quality time over some quick fun with physical attraction. I feel people could offer each other so much more, and “Up Tonight” attempts to describe that elevating experience."-
Jordan Barone has been working on the debut EP since late 2015. He worked with Ramkuu, DonRique, Braxton Cook, Raheam Adres, Amber Lee, Chris Russo, and his brother Stefan Barone for the EP.
He produced all the tracks except one. The EP is expected to be released in early 2019. - Debut song "Same Thing"
