Swedish singer-songwriter Matilda Mård, aka Many Voices Speak has delivered a new song “Chances” via streaming music services.
The song was premiered exclusively on Billboard.
The track is the third single from her forthcoming debut album "Tank Town", which is out August 31.
The album was preceded by two singles “I Saw You” and “Necessaries”. It is following a debut EP "Away For All Time" the release in 2017.
Matilda Mår said of the song, "that being a misfit is just a sign that you’re too far from the place where you feel at home. It’s been important for me to remember that place always exists somewhere, so the will to change won’t win.”-
Back in June, she told The Line Of Best Fit about the debut album in an interview;
"Tank Town is a metaphor for the mental state that runs through the songs of the album, where everything that’s being processed either belongs to the past or the times to come. I started thinking of places where neither nature or civilization are preserved, and I discovered a similarity in the way nostalgia and dreams are being captured in that kind of place; the history in what was built up once, but also someone’s dream to create something meaningful, even if it’s been left unfulfilled with time." -
