American rapper G-Eazy and American singer-songwriter Halsey appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where both artists performed their latest duet song "Him & I".
The track waa released on November 30 as the second single from his upcoming thir studio album "The Beautiful & Damned". It was written by Gerald Gillum, Alexander Schwartz, Joe Khajadourian and Ashley Frangipane.
The song is like "Bonnie and Clyde". G-Eazy told 97.1 AMP Radio;
“It’s like this Bonnie & Clyde record and we made it out of love, which is really, really awesome. Getting to share that with the world is really cool because it’s not a contrived thing. It’s not two artists pretending to be something they’re not for the sake of a story. It’s like we really made this record about our real lives and hopefully we get to share that with other people who feel similarly about each other. We’re really fortunate. We live really cool lives and we get to do really cool stuff together. I just hope that, you know, some young couple somewhere in a slower part of world maybe can hear it and maybe imagine what it would be like for just four minutes.”
After the performance of “Him & I”, he continued to play "No Limit", which was the lead single from the new album. The original version features ASAP Rocky and Cardi B.
The new album feature guest appearances from Halsey, Cardi B, ASAP Rocky, Kehlani, Jay Ant, E-40, Charlie Puth and Anna of the North, among others.
