X Ambassadors Releases New Song “My Own Monster”
American rock trio X Ambassadors released a new song “My Own Monster” via KIDinaKORNER/Interscope Records/Universal Music Canada on June 11, 2021.
The song is the first single off of their upcoming fourth studio album “The Beautiful Liar”.
It was written by Adam Levin, Big Data, Andrew Wells, Casey Harris, Jamie Lidell and Sam Harris. Produced by Andrew Wells.
The track sampled Big Data's 2018 song “Monster”.
X Ambassadors frontman Sam Nelson Harris shared on social media, “OUT NOW. And a new chapter begins. 'My Own Monster' will be the first single off our new album, The Beautiful Liar. This was the first song we wrote for the new album, so it felt appropriate to be the one we start our journey with. Thank you Andrew Wells_ for making this little monster come to life.”
He continued, “Two years ago, I had a dream. I was being chased by a gigantic shadow of myself. It loomed large and ominous behind me; two blank, white eyes staring out of its head. I ran and ran, and it kept getting closer and closer. Finally-- I turned to face it. I looked at it, it looked at me… and we started to dance. Enjoy. Visuals coming soon…”
