Alberta Cross Releases New Song “Watch Me Fall Down”
Anglo-Swedish alt-rock band Alberta Cross released a new song “Watch Me Fall Down” along with a music video on March 1, 2024.
The song is an introspective exploration into a Father’s relationship with his children, and hides powerful lyrics which are sure to resonate with anyone who struggles with the complexities of paternal connection.
The song is the follow-up to “Never Gonna Walk Away”, which was released last month.
The track was written and produced by Petter Ericson Stakee and Ed Harcourt.
The band lead singer Petter Ericson Stakee said of the song, “I'd say its a fever dream about the dichotomy between the idealistic perspective that one's offspring have of their patriarch, yet really there's a giant invisible tiger pulling all the stitches out of his mangled puppet body. With a lot of guitar pedals for good measure.”
Producer Ed Harcourt added, “It was a pleasure having Petter in the studio, even if he did insist on opening his jar of rotten mackerel for lunch. We danced in the pale shoegaze moonlight with the patron saint of tinnitus.”- source : Apple Music
