Natalia Nykiel Returns With New Song “Bye Bye”
Polish singer-songwriter Natalia Nykiel returned with a new song “Bye Bye” on August 10, 2023.
The song is her first music since the 2022 third studio album “Regnum”.
The track was written by Edu Monteiro, Natalia Nykiel, and Alice Fernandes. Produced by Edu Monteiro and Panela Rec Portugal.
The accompanying music video was directed by Ivan Bambalin.
This time, she sings the song in English since the 2019 EP “ORIGO”.
Natalia Nykiel said of the song, “I say 'bye' to my old self. But not only that, because I also say 'bye bye' to all those who did not believe in me, as well as those with whom I did not work out for various reasons. This song is primarily about the female power that helps us say 'goodbye' when we need to. Now I feel this strength within me.”- She continued, “Singing in English is still a new form of expression for me. Already on 'Origo', my first international release, I felt that singing in English is a discovery for me, because I have the impression that singing in this language, my voice sounds completely different. Besides, me and my crew have noticed that recently there is much more space on the Polish scene for music in a language other than ours. It used to be unthinkable. So I feel like it's a good time for that. But it's not like I'm closing myself to Polish songs now, because I also have a few in our language up my sleeve.”
