Adult Leisure Releases New Song “Bad Idea”
Bristol-based alt-rock band Adult Leisure, consisting of Neil Scott (vocals), David Woolford (guitar), James Laing (bass) and Nathan Searle (drums), released a new song “Bad Idea” on June 9, 2023.
The song is their first music since the 2022 debut EP “The Weekend Ritua”.
Also, the track is the first single off of their upcoming sophomore EP, which is expected to be released later this year.
The track was written and produced by Adult Leisure. Accompanying music video was directed by Tom Whitson.
Adult Leisure said of the song in a statement, “Bad idea’ is an honest answer to the relationships that we lie about to keep the peace, and avoid the new and unknown. It’s an introspective yet universal song of acceptance of unhappiness. It's a raw and honest take on the struggles we face in relationships, and it really solidifies the sound of our band. The lyrics are honest and relatable, and we hope that they will resonate with anyone who's ever been in a similar situation. We're really proud of this track, and we feel like it's a great representation of who we are as a band.”
