Lola Young Releases New Song “Stream Of Consciousness”
British singer-songwriter Lola Young released a new song “Stream Of Consciousness” on November 25, 2022.
The song is the first single from her upcoming project.
Lola Young shared on social media, “I dropped the first song from my next project.. Stream of Consciousness is the beginning of a new chapter for me. Thank you to everyone who has helped me along my journey so far.”
She is influenced by poet Charles Bukowski on the track.
She said, “Charles Bukowski has always been my favourite poet, it always feel like he writes through his stream of consciousness.“
The track was written by Lola Young, Will Brown, and Conor Dickinson. Produced by Manuka.
She said of the song, “It’s a contemplation of who I am, my insecurities, the mistakes I have made and what I’ve learned from them to grow into the young woman I am becoming. ‘Stream of Consciousness’ is an introduction to my new sound; my upcoming music feels like I’m channelling a depth of creativity I’ve never accessed before, and I’m excited to share with everyone.”- source : Apple Music
