Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ BANNΞRS Premieres New Song “Let Go”
Toronto-based singer-songwriter Michael Joseph Nelson, aka BANNΞRS has released a new song “Let Go”. The song follows up his second EP "Empires On Fire", which was released last November.
He wrote about the song on Facebook, "I hate when people talk about their own lyrics. With that in mind here is a song about letting go of negative emotions and experiences and trying to be a better person. Music! Hooray!"
He had toured in North America through to April. After the tour, he will perform live at Hangout Music Festival 2018 in Alabama on May 18th, at Firefly Music Festival in Dover on June 17th and at Seven Music Festival in Canada on July 7th.

- Originally, Mike Nelson started his music career in Liverpool. His father has even worked with Coldplay. But he relocated to Canada.
He signed to Island Records as BANNΞRS and released a debut song “Ghosts” in 2015. His second single "Start a Riot" was released in August 2015 and featured on the last episode of the second season of the TV series Lucifer. The song appeared on the soundtrack for the FIFA 16 video game, as well.
He released a debut EP "Banners" in 2106 and the second EP "Empires on Fire" in 2017.
Las month, he appeared on season 16 of the U.S. American Idol, where he performed his smash "Someone to You". - source : Idolator
