Canadian DJ BLUFF released a new song “Fight The Feeling” on May 5, 2021.
The song is the second single off of his upcoming debut EP, following “Lessons” released back in March.
This time, he teamed up with Montreal-based singer-songwriter Ehlee on the track.
The track was written by BLUFF and Lydia Sutherland. “My inspirations come from chord progressions, they are the part of music that makes me dream,” BLUFF said of the song. “'Fight The Feeling,' my first collaboration with songwriter Lydia Sutherland, was born out of one of those chord progressions that immediately moved me. Lyrically, this song touches on the overthinking that can happen in a new relationship.”- He continued, “When I played these chords for Lydia, she immediately came up with an amazing melody. Unlike with previous songs, I chose to focus on the songwriting first and production second. To complete "Fight The Feeling," I went into the studio with Ehlee. We were having such a blast recording her vocals that at one point I had to actually cover my whole head with a hoodie so that we wouldn't ruin a take with laughter.”
The debut EP is expected to be released in June 2021. -
