Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Alec Benjamin Returns With New Song “The Way You Felt”
Back in January, American singer-songwriter Alec Benjamin joined in Chinese actress Zhao Lu Si's new song “Water Fountain”, where he performed in Chinese.
On April 30, following the collaboration song, he returned to his own music with a new song “The Way You Felt” alongside a music video.
The song is his first single since his debut album “These Two Windows”, which was released last May.
The track was written by Alec Benjamin. Produced by Sir Nolan and Lenno.
Alec Benjamin said of the song, “'The Way You Felt' was written in the darker part of my COVID experience. It was a period when we were experiencing a lot of physical isolation. I was just thinking about what it was like to be close to somebody and missing that.”
Also, he shared on social media, “The last year and a half or so hasn't been the easiest for anyone. I myself have had a lot of ups and downs. I spent a lot of time reflecting and trying to find myself again. It feels so liberating to finally share new music with you.
