Mimi Webb Releases New Christmas Song “Back Home For Christmas”
British singer-songwriter Mimi Webb released her first ever Christmas song “Back Home For Christmas” on November 10, 2023.
The track was written by Phil Plested, Mike Needle, Tom Branes, Benjamin Kohn, and Peter Kelleher. Produced by Lostboy.
She has already filmed a music video for the song, which is coming soon.
Mimi Webb told Official Charts about the song, “It wasn't originally written as a Christmas song; it was your typical pop song. We thought 'let's go in and put these Christmas lyrics over it.' I just felt like it was the perfect song to bring the Christmas vibe to. It was so much fun to write and record. I just knew this would be my Christmas song.”
She added, “Five weeks till Christmas, I'm jumping in early! I had my decorations up by this time last year, to be fair. I'm really happy with when I've released this. You always need a song to put you into the Christmas spirit early and get things going. I'm so excited.”- Mimi Webb shared on social media, “Christmas is my FAVORITE time of the year !! & I just can't believe I've got a song to represent it out there now this is crazy!!! Before the release of the song, as her last show of 2023, Mimi Webb performed at the Austin City Limits Music Festival in Austin on October 15, 2023.
