salem ilese Releases New Song “Team Sport”
Los Angeles-based alt-pop singer-songwriter salem ilese released a new song “Team Sport” on June 23, 2023 via 10K Projects.
The song is her third single of 2023 without the collaborative song “Howling at the Moon” with Mike Posner, following “PainHub” and “Tall Boi”.
Also, the song will appear on her upcoming debut album.
The track was written by David Arkwright and Justin Gammella. Produced by David Arkwright and Justin Gammella.
Salem ilese said of the song, “Team Sport is about being in a one-sided relationship. It's one of those rare songs that started out with the first verse. I usually write the chorus first, but this song began with the idea 'there's no 'i' in love.' Relationships really are a team sport, whether it be romantic or otherwise. The production of this song is one of my favorites on the album. It feels very raw and emotional, and leans into my actual music taste, which is primarily alt rock.
