New York City-based singer-songwriter Jill Blutt released a brand new song entitled “Heaven” on November 11, 2022.
The song is the second single of 2022, following “7 Seconds” released back in August.
It was written by Jill Blutt, Eben D'Amico and Dr. Jesse Blum. Produced by Jill Blutt & Eben D'Amico.
While the previous song examines the ways that trauma begets loneliness, “Heaven” looks at the tendency of loneliness to become cyclical, congenial, and over time, even compulsive.
Jill Blutt said of the song, “Heaven is a cinematic 'anti-love song' filled with snappy analog textures and a sweetness that edges appropriately on saccharinity.”- Jill Blutt was born and raised in New York City. Jill's music blends melancholy dream pop elements with a sprinkle of muck and mire, modernizing lyric-forward sentimentality against a dreamlike electronic backdrop.
