Hayley Kiyoko Releases New Song “deep in the woods”
- American singer-songwriter Hayley Kiyoko released a new song “deep in the woods” on June 24, 2022.
The song is the fourth single off of her upcoming sophomore album “Panorama”, following “For The Girls”, “Chance” and “Found My Friends”.
It was written by Hayley Kiyoko, Nikki Flores, Chloe George, Patrick Morrissey and David Dahlquist.
Produced by Hayley Kiyoko, Pat Morrissey, Kill Dave and Danja.
The Visualizer for the song was directed by Hayley Kiyoko herself.
“‘Deep in the Woods’ is a song that captures the feeling of instant connection, as if you’ve known someone forever even though you’ve only just met,” Hayley Kiyoko said of the song in a press release. “It feels as if your entire being is haunted by their presence wherever you go. It’s that instantaneous moment of knowing you are willing to do anything to be with the one you love.”
The new album comprises 15-track and is set to be released on July 29, 2022. It is her first album in four years.
She said of the album, “I've been working on my new album and this Hue perfume definitely reminds me of my new music. I've been working on my album for a very long time and I've just wanted it to be perfect, and elevated and epic. I don't have anything mixed but I'm about to get the music mixed and hopefully have some new music for you soon.”
