Cassyette Releases Stripped Back Version of Latest Song “Petrichor”
British rock singer-songwriter Cassyette released stripped back version of “Petrichor” on October 23, 2021.
The original version of the song was released back in September as the third single of 2021, following “Dear Goth” and “Prison Purse”.
It was written by Olivia Cassy Brooking, Tylr Rydr, Bambie Thug and Olly Burden.
Cassyette said of the song, “Petrichor means the smell in the air after it's been raining. After losing my dad and being unable to see anyone over lockdown I spiralled into a dark place. I took a lot for me to feel happiness again. A few months back My best friend had a baby (my god daughter) and when she was born I wrote Petrichor. How we have the power to regenerate our mind set and push ourselves through dark times because there is light at the end of the tunnel. It's about turning over a new leaf. A fresh start. One life ends and another begins.”
Recently, she joined in Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes' new song “Off With His Head” as guest vocals.- tzOla9gKPyM
