Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Oh Wonder Shares New Song “Lonely Star”
Back in February, London-based alt-pop duo Oh Wonder released their third studio album “No One Else Can Wear Your Crown” for the first time in three years.
But the duo already started their new project “Home Tapes”. The duo shared, “In this unprecedented period of confusion and loneliness, we wanted to contribute to the world's efforts to make sense of it all, in the only way we know how. We are taking it back to how we started this band and embarking on a new project called Home Tapes, where we will seek to write, produce and mix songs at home to share with the world on a regular basis. In the absence of certainty, at least we will have music, and we hope that these songs provide some comfort, companionship and relief to those that need it.”
From the project, the duo released the first song “Lonely Star” on April 3rd.
The duo wants their fans to create the music video for the song. “We want to make this new project collaborative and creative. Send us a star, dance, animation, drawing, sing-along, painting... anything goes!”
