Los Angeles-based DJ Prince Fox has released a new song “Fake It” following his smash hit “Just Call” with Bella Thorne.
The song is a heartfelt romantic ballad with electric guitar and synth.
Last year, he canceled shows and refocused on his own music, starting the next step in the studio.
Before the song was released, he shared remixes "Fitting in" on SoundCloud.
He wrote on Facebook, "I spent the last four years finding myself, and finding out who I am. I made mistakes, and I followed the trends out of fear... until I lost myself enough to draw a line and try and piece together who I am as a person and artist. Before the next chapter begins, I wanted to share everything I have put up until now, that made me who I am."
When he premiered a lyric video for the new song, he told Billboard. "I was fortunate enough have some success producing for other artists, which helped me hone in on what sounds I wanted to employ in my own work, and what my sonic staple would be across everything that I work on. For everyone that has been following me, and for those who are new, I am happy to say I finally feel like me again, and I am excited to take this next step in my life and career with all of you."-
