Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ The Wanted Announces New Album “Most Wanted: The Greatest Hits”, Shares New Song “Rule The World”
British-Irish boy group The Wanted, consisting of Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes, is back. The group reunited last month and announced their upcoming compilation album “Most Wanted: The Greatest Hits” would be released on November 12, 2021.
It is the first album in eight years since the 2013 third studio album “Word of Mouth”.
From the album the band unveiled the lead single called “Rule The World” with an accompanying music video on October 13, 2021.
It was written by Max George, Ari Leff (aka Lauv), Michael Pollack, Svante Halldin and Jakob Hazell. Produced by Jack & Coke and Michael Akinkunmi.
The album comprises 15-track (the deluxe version 20-track), including all 12 of the band's Top 40 hits on the Official Singles Chart adding fan favourite “Could This Be Love” and two new songs.
The Wanted originally planned to reunite in early 2020 to celebrate their 10th anniversary, before the global pandemic set in. Shortly after, Tom Parker was diagnosed with a brain tumour.
But, the group embarks on a 12-date reunion arena tour in March 2022. The tour kicks off at Sse Hydro in Glasgow on March 3, 2022 and will wrap up at M&S bank arena in Liverpool on March 17, 2022.
