Canadian rock band The Strumbellas frontman Simon Ward's solo project, Simon and the Island will release his self-titled debut album on November 19, 2021.
The album comprises 9-track, which is different sound from The Strumbellas, and is relatable, relevant, and resonant, strong and structured, honest, humble and full of heart. Produced by Brian Pickett.
From the album, he released three new songs “Muse”, “Miss Maples” and “Scared of Not Knowing” on October 8, 2021.
Simon Ward shared on social media, “I worked on a lot of it at my home studio and my producer Brian Pickett's studio here in our hometown - Lindsay, Ontario! I'm over the moon to share three new tracks with you today! Muse was written after I thought I had finished the album, but realized it was actually what I wanted to share with everyone first.
