American singer-songwriter Halsey appeared on Saturday Night Live to perform “I am not a woman, I'm a god” and “Darling”.
This marks her first musical guest on the sketch show since 2020.
Halsey said, “I can't believe I just did SNL for the 5th time! It never gets old. Always electrifying and so fun to finally perform the new songs.”
Two songs are included her fourth studio album “If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power”, which was released back in August.
“I am not a woman, I'm a god” was produced by Atticus Ross and Trent Reznor.
She said of the song, “I wanted cinematic, really unsettling production. They (Atticus Ross and Trent Reznor) wanted to know if I was willing to take the risk—I was.”
On “Darling”, she performed with former Fleetwood Mac, Lindsey Buckingham, who played the acoustic guitar.
“Ladies and gentleman, Lindsey Buckingham!” Halsey shouted at the end of the performance.
The song was written by Atticus Ross, Trent Reznor, John Cunningham and Halsey.- FVfIUcgfAHg
