MICHELLE Announces New Album “AFTER DINNER WE TALK DREAMS”, Shares New Song “SYNCOPATE”
- New York City-based pop collective MICHELLE, consisting of Jamee Lockard, Charlie Kilgore, Layla Ku, Sofia D'Angelo, and Julian Kaufman, has released a new song “SYNCOPATE”.
The song is the first taste from their upcoming sophomore album “AFTER DINNER WE TALK DREAMS”, which is set to be released on January 28, 2022 via Canvasback Music and Transgressive in the UK.
It was written by Sofia D’Angelo, Aidan Ludlam, Laylah Ku, Julian Kaufman and Charlie Kilgore. Produced by Julian Kaufman and Charlie Kilgore.
The accompanying music video was directed by Justin Ongeri.
MICHELLE said of the song, “The song at its core is about desire. Communicating your desire can feel vulnerable, so we wanted to have some fun with that and show our funky and seductive side. It really feels like we’re hitting the street for the first time by putting this song out into the world.”
- The new album comprises of 14-track, featuring guest appearances from Reyes. It is their first LP in two years.
The group has currently been on tour in the US, through to November 20, 2021.
After the US tour, the group embarks on their headline tour in Europe and UK in 2022. The tour kicks off at Whelans in Dublin, Ireland on February 2, 2022.
