British singer-songwriter Jasmine Van den Bogaerde, aka Birdy has dropped a new music video for “Evergreen”.
The song is included on her fourth studio album “Young Heart”, which was released back in May.
She wrote the song in Los Angeles before the COVID-19 pandemic hit in 2020.
It was written by Jasmine Van den Bogaerde, Benjamin Jaffe and Wendy Wang.
Birdy said of song, “This is written about another time, and brings joy to the record. It’s about two people who are just completely wrapped up in each other and blind to the rest of the world. I wrote it in LA, and it was actually the first time I felt I’d met people who really understood what I was trying to make. I think this is my favourite on the record—everyone was playing in the room together, and it was captured exactly as we performed it. I think you can hear that.”- Photo by Lotta Boman
