American music duo DARKMINDS announced their debut album “Good News” would be released on June 4, 2021.
From the album, the duo dropped title track on May 21, 2021.
The track was written by Christopher Umana and Daniel Ellsworth Mathews.
DARKMINDS said, “With 'Good News' we wanted to write a love song that felt like summertime but do it in our own way. There was a constant barrage of bad news in 2020 (to say the least), and we wanted to make something that flipped the script and talked about some good news. This is our windows down with the sun shining feel-good soundtrack to summer.”
DARKMINDS consists of Daniel Ellsworth of American rock band Daniel Ellsworth & The Great Lakes and record producer Christopher “C4” Umana.
The duo is better known for the 2020 single “Ready Let's Go”, which featured in Apple iPad Pro ad.- source : Spotify
