CamelPhat Drops New Music Video for “Easier” featuring LOWES
Back in October, British DJ duo CamelPhat, consisting of Dave Whelan and Mike Di Scala, released their long-awaited debut album “Dark Matter” via Sony Music Entertainment.
From the album, the duo dropped a new music video for “Easier” directed by Tom Haines, featuring British alt-pop band LOWES.
Also, earlier this month, the duo released an acoustic version of the song. LOWES shared on social media, “We had sooo much fun recording and producing this acoustic version of Easier - with fresh vocals, and beautiful strings from our go-to maestro, Richard Curran! 🎻 🎹 🎙🧡🖤”
The duo co-wrote the song with Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine, and Justin Parker.
The debut album comprises of 21-track, featuring guest appearances from Leo Stannard, Jake Bugg, Artbat, Rhodes, Yannis of Foals, Ali Love, Elderbrook, LOWES, Au/Ra, Skream, Max Milner, Elderbrook, Cristoph, Jem Cooke, Noel Gallagher, Eli & Fur, DEL-30, Maverick Sabre, and Will Easton.
Florence Welch, Antiguan German singer-songwriter Au/Ra and former Oasis Noel Gallagher contributed the songs “Easier”, “Panic Room” and “Not Over Yet”, respectively.
“We just wanted to do something a little bit different,” CamelPhat said of the album. “The album is not all dance music”.
The duo will appear on Tomorrowland Digital Festival NYE on December 31, 2020.- uMd-zfBecQ4
