Tribe Friday Announces New EP “Waiting For A Sign”, Releases New Song “Loosie”
- Swedish alt-rock band Tribe Friday announced their third EP “Waiting For A Sign” will be released on October 23rd.
The EP follows up their sophomore EP “Chasing Pictures” released back in March.
“Waiting For A Sign” was recorded in the same sessions as the EP “Chasing Pictures”.
From the EP, the band unveiled a new song “Loosie” on September 4th.
Frontman Noah Deutschmann said of the song, “We snatched the name (Lucy - which is the name given to ‘the trip herself’ in the lyrics) off a quartet of British gentlemen you might’ve heard of. They were pretty big in the ’60s, or something.”
Tribe Friday was nominated as a Framtidens Artist (Artist Of The Future) by Swedish national radio station P3 earlier this year.
Shortlist nominations will be announced later this year, prior to the January 2021 awards show. In advance of that, they will be performing at the P3 Älskar (P3 Loves) Karlstad show on November 5th.
Also, the band will embark on headline tour in Germany. The tour kicks off at Huyleys Neue Welt in Berlin on September 17th.
