- American rapper Megan Thee Stallion appeared on NPR Music Tiny Desk Concert on October 28th.
“I'm gonna get real comfortable with y'all, so I'm need y'all to get real comfortable with me,” Megan Thee Stallion told the excited Tiny Desk Fest crowd .
She released her debut mixtape “Fever” back in May. From the mixtape, she performed “Realer”, “Cash S***”, and “Money Good”.
The debut mixtape features guest appearances from DaBaby and Juicy J. It reached No. 10 on the US Billboard 200.
In addition, she played “Big Ole Freak” from her second EP “Tina Snow”, and a collaboration song with Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla Sign called “Hot Girl Summer”.
The song was released in August and reached No. 11 on the US Billboard Hot 100. She said of the song "The song was already recorded and ready to go, and then we just went live together and she literally recorded her verse that night. And, they sent the song to me and I was like “This is not real life. Y’all are playing right now.” I love it. It was amazing. I can’t believe she did it so fast.”
Also, she and Phony Ppl surprised the audience by premiering an unreleased collaboration, a bouncy banger titled “F*****' Around”. It was the first time she performed with a live band in public.
