  • Griff Premieres New Song “Miss Me Too” on BBC Radio 1

  • British singer-songwriter Griff premiered a new song “Miss Me Too” on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Clara Amfo.

The song is the follow-up to “Astronaut”, which was released last December.
Also, the song will appear on her upcoming album. Griff said, “Keep your eyes, there's a lot coming, there's loads coming.”
She co-produced the song with producers Lostboy and Siba.
Griff said of the song, “I wrote a song about unexpectedly losing important relationships in your life, growing out of adolescence and desperately searching for a version of yourself that felt things and believed the best in people. This one's called 'Miss Me Too' and I've been sad girl dancing to it alone for a while.”
She shared on social media, “This song has been sitting on my laptop for a year. Written in another airbnb kitchen converted into some kind of make shift studio. My 2 favourite people to write songs with lostboy, SIBA came to find me in this cottage and helped me unlock this song.”
She continued, “It's about a state of feeling lost, and trying to retrace when you seem to have lost yourself. It's sad but it's also so hopeful and something I'm ready to dance to with you all.”
  • Griff told Clara Amfo about te song, “It's kind of like it's a heartbreak song about needing to find yourself again. That is a real thing. I think even being on tour and a lot of people in my life, 'Oh, you miss you' and I think this song is almost that like silent responses like, 'Do you miss me too?' Because there is a lot of myself I feel like I've lost.”
