Bury Tomorrow Drops New Music Video for “Wrath”
Back in March 2023, British metalcore band Bury Tomorrow, consisting of Daniel Winter-Bates (unclean vocals), Davyd Winter-Bates (bass), Adam Jackson (drums), Kristan Dawson (lead guitar), Ed Hartwell (rhythm guita) and Tom Prendergast (keyboards/clean vocals), released their seventh studio album “The Seventh Sun” for the first time in three years.
From the album, the band dropped a new music video for “Wrath” on January 17, 2024.
The video was filmed by John Gyllhamn. The clip features behind-the-scenes footage of their tour across the last 2 and a half years.
The band said of the video, “We are excited to present our video for the song ‘Wrath’, from our latest album ‘The Seventh Sun’. The video takes you on a journey with us across the last 2 and a half years of our lives, as we have moved into the chapter of our band we are most proud of, and taken it around the world. The song itself is about losing someone close to you. Life is finite, and the connections we make are fragile so it’s important we use our time on earth wisely. Please look after yourself, and others.”- The track was written by dam Jackson, Daniel Weller, Daniel Winter-Bates, Davyd Winter-Bates, Ed Hartwell, Kristan Dawson, and Tom Prendergast. Produced by Dan Weller.
The band told Apple Music about the song, “This is a real heartstrings one, very emotional. Our guitarist Kris [Dawson], one of his friends lost their mum recently. He was going through the stages of grief that you go through, and Kris told me that he wanted a song about that. I lost my nan at the start of COVID, so I started pulling in that feeling. Some people think about what happens after death, and other people think about what happens right now. That all depends on whatever spirituality or faith people have—or don’t have. After you go through all the anxiety and anger, you come to that realization within grief that all you want to do is make that person proud.” -
