Tom Speight Releases New Song “Trick Of The Light”
London-based singer-songwriter Tom Speight released a new song “Trick Of The Light” along with a music video on July 7, 2023.
The song is the sixth single off of his up coming third studio album “Love & Light”, which is set to be released on August 11, 2023.
The track was written and produced by Tom Speight with production by Rich Turvey.
The accompanying video was recorded at London’s RAK Studios.
Tom Speight said of the song, “‘Trick of the Light’ was one of the quickest songs I’ve ever written. Co-written with Matt Hales (Aqualung, Lianne La Havas) we had a burst of inspiration after I came up with the guitar riff. It’s a song about the initial meeting of someone when they seem out of this world… the feeling of, is this person even real? Sonically inspired by War On Drugs & Springsteen with the Synths & Wall of Sound approach. I think it’s going to be a huge live song for me.”- source : Apple Music
