Leon Bridges Releases New Song “Naomi”
Back in 2018, American soul singer-songwriter Leon Bridges released his second studio album “Good Thing”.
The album was nominated for Best R&B Album at the 2019 Grammy Awards. But, the single "Bet Ain't Worth the Hand" from the album won Best Traditional R&B Performance the 2019 Grammy Awards.
Five years later, he released a new song “Naomi” from the anniversary edition of the album on May 5, 2023.
Originally, the song was included on the Japanese deluxe version of the album.
The track was written by Ricky Reed, Austin Jenkins, Eric Fredric, Joshua Block, Justin Tranter, Nate Mercereau and Leon Bridges. Produced by Nate Mercereau and Ricky Reed.
Leon Bridges said of the song, “Been 5 years since the release of Good Thing. Turn up for Good Thing (Anniversary Edition) + 'Naomi', a track we previously only shared on the Japanese version of Good Thing.”- Background photo by Ana-Yancy
