Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi released a new song “Wish You The Best” on April 14, 2023.
The song is the fourth single off of his upcoming sophomore album “Broken by Desire to Be Heavenly Sent”, which is due out May 19, 2023.
He co-wrote the song with Canadian singer-songwriter JP Saxe. Produced by TMS and Lewis Capaldi.
He first performed the song during his Broken by Desire to Be Heavenly Sent Tour in the US.
“Wish You The Best came from the idea of a person you used to be with, telling you all this amazing stuff about their life, without you in it,” Lewis Capaldi said of the song. “It's a song about what we don't say to those people. I was fascinated by the things left unsaid, whether that be in a relationship or a friendship.”- QZLxVvLyKTo

He told Apple Music about the album, “If you liked the first album, you'll like this one. I'm not trying to reinvent the wheel here! Doom and gloom, a lot of shit you've heard before.
