Mimi Webb Releases New Song “Roles Reversed”
British singer-songwriter Mimi Webb released the forth single called “Roles Reversed” from her upcoming debut album “Amelia” on February 16, 2023, following “House on Fire”, “Ghost of You”, and “Red Flags”.
It was written by Mimi Webb, Connor McDonough, Riley McDonough, Ryan Daly and Toby McDonough. Produced by Connor McDonough and Ryan Daly.
The track is an emotional ballad about having your heart broken by the person you helped heal from their last relationship.
Mimi Webb shared on social media, “I wanted to put this one out before Amelia came out just for the familyyy, I love you all so much.”
The debut album is set to be released March 3, 2023, featuring 12-track.
The album title mens her legal first name and the album features two sides of Mimi Webb.
She said, “The album is named Amelia, my full first name, as there are two sides of me that I want people to get to know. There's Amelia, the girl from the UK countryside who loves to be at home with her family, friends, and dogs; and Mimi, the pop artist who loves to be up on stage traveling the world. It was important for me to capture this duality with songs written for both of those girls.”
- She continued, “This is something I've been working on for a very long time and everything I've been doing has lead to this very moment! I'm growing as a person everyday & learning so much from this crazy journey, but one of the main lessons is to always follow your heart. This album is the best version of me & I want you all to accept vulnerability without judgement while you listen to this record."
