Ryan Hamilton Releases New Song “Asshole”
Texas-based indie rock singer-songwriter Ryan Hamilton released a new song “Asshole” on February 14, 2023.
The song is the fourth single off of his upcoming album “Haunted By The Holy Ghost”, which is set to be released on March 10, 2023.
It was written by Ryan Hamilton and produced by Dave Draper.
The song is accompanied music video, featuring Barrel Race World Champion Ryann Pedone and Conor the badger. Badger footage filmed by Laurie Hamilton. Live footage filmed by Robert Male, in Leicester, UK.
Ryan Hamilton said of the song, “It's not everyday you shoot a music video with a badger! Why a badger? Because badgers are assholes. They're adorable assholes. Haha. So proud of this song. The self sabotaging title will keep it off most radio stations… which is a shame, because it deserves to be a big hit."
He said of the video, “With World Champion Barrel Racer, Ryann Pedone & Conor the badger. No badgers (or humans) were harmed during the filming of this video. That being said, when Conor wanted to "play"... it was still pretty scary. Haha!”- He shared on social media, “It's not everyday the worlds of Barrel Racing and Rock N Roll come together. Ryann Pedone & Conor (the badger) join me in the music video for my new single, 'AsshoIe'. Ryann & I met a while back, when she was gracious enough to be a part of a photography (my favorite hobby) project featuring barrel racers, & we've stayed friends ever since. She's one of my favorite people, & I could think of no one better than Conor 🦡 to star in a video for a song called 'AsshoIe'”
