Norwegian singer-songwriter SKAAR covered Canadian singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell's “Both Sides Now”.
She released the song for celebrating the 50 year anniversary of Joni Mitchell' album “Blue”.
The original version of the song was released by Joni Mitchell from her sophomore album “Clouds” in 1969.
SKAAR shared on social media, “Tonight I'm releasing a cover of Joni Mitchel's «Both Sides Now» to celebrate the 50 year anniversary of her beautiful album «Blue». This is one of my favorite songs and it explains in such a poetic way how at one point, the magical way you looked at the world as a child fades away. But even though it makes me feel melancholic and sad it also reminds to try to look for magic in everyday life and small things.. ahh”
Back in April, following the debut EP “The Other Side of Waiting”, SKAAR released her new collection of songs “Waiting”, which comprises 8-track.
She said, “'Waiting' closes the musical chapter I've been working on for the last three years. It's a prequel to the EP and shows a whole different side of me as an artist, but also a whole other part of the story I want to tell.”- t4DLqwC-fSk
