Cheat Codes Releases New Song “All Things $ Can Do” featuring Travis Barker & Tove Styrke
Los Angeles-based DJ trio Cheat Codes released a new song “All Things $ Can Do” along with a music video from their upcoming sophomore album “HELLRAISERS, Part 2” on August 13, 2021.
This time, the trio teamed up with blink 182's Travis Barker and Swedish singer-songwriter Tove Styrke for the song.
The track was written by PRINCE$$ ROSIE, Matthew Russell, Trevor Dahl, Jorgen Odegard, Chloe Gasparini and bülow. The video was directed by Sebastian Sdaigui.
Cheat Codes said of the song, “A lot of people get into this rat race of trying to have more, make more and do more but at a certain point it's a mental illness. When you go down that rabbit hole of everything that money can do for you, it poses the question 'what can't it do?' Some of the best things in life such as love and relationships require time and attention. You can't just throw money at it and expect it to flourish. Life's about balance.”
The trio said of working with Travis Barker, “We were all raised on blink 182. first show I EVER went to was to see Travis when I was 12 years old. (this is trevor btw) the fact that we've got a song together literally blows my mind. very very grateful for this one.”
They continued, “It's been a dream working with him. He's one of those guys that can hear the song once and know exactly what to play. I swear he's got a photographic memory or something."
Tove Styrke said, ”I'm beyond excited for this collaboration to be out! When I heard this song I immediately fell in love with it. And to be on the same track as Travis Barker is so cool, he's such an icon.”- The trio said of the new album, “HELLRAISERS part TWO is Here! Ever since we started Cheat Codes, we've heated the idea of being kept in a box of stuck to one genre. We've always to be able to experiment, push the envelope, and blur the lines between different types of music. With PART 2 of the album, we wanted to try something we've never done before. Something that brings us all the way back to write it all started for us as kids...Pop Punk, for us, there is nothing more nostalgic.
