Mura Masa Teams Up With Ellie Rowsell & Wolf Alice for New Song “Teenage Headache Dreams”
Grammy-winning producer Mura Masa's sophomore album “R.Y.C. (Raw Youth Collage)” will be released on January 17th for the first time in three years.
The album features guest appearances from Clairo, slowthai, Tirzah, Ellie Rowsell of Wolf Alice and Georgia.
From the album, he premiered new song “Teenage Headache Dreams” on Zane Lowe’s Beats1 radio show.
The song features Ellie Rowsell of Wolf Alice. It was written by Ellie Rowsell and Mura Masa.
Mura Masa said of the song, "It's possible to feel happy even if it means relying on something that isn't necessarily true, or is half-imagined, or might not even have happened at all. If we can find a shared remembrance of a good time, we're more likely to be able to find that again. A little bit of escapism is healthy."
He will embark on R.Y.C World Tour in support of the album in the UK, Europe and North America through to May. The tour kicks off at Alexandra Palace in London on February 20th.
