Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Givēon Releases New Song “For Tonight”
Back in March, American R&B singer-songwriter Giveon Dezmann Evans, aka Givēon released his first compilation album “When It's All Said and Done... Take Time”.
The album is a combination of his first two EPs “Take Time” and “When It's All Said and Done” including an unreleased song “All to Me”.
After the album, he released a new song “For Tonight” along with a music video.
The song will appear on his upcoming debut album, which is expected to be released in 2021.
It was written by Antonio Dixon, Marcus Semaj, Sevn Thomas and Givēon. Produced by Akeel, Jahaan Sweet and Sevn Thomas.
The video was directed by Sophia Nahli Allison.
Givēon said of the song, “This is the story of a taboo vice that I just can't seem to stop indulging in.”
Before the released of the new song, he joined in Justin Bieber's “Peaches”, which reached No. 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100, and Drake's latest album “Certified Lover Boy”.
Givēon embarks on Timeless Tour 2021 this winter. The tour kicks off at EI Club in Detroit on November 28th and will conclude at The Showbox in Seattle on December 22nd.
