Los Angeles-based Israeli alt-pop singer-songwriter Grace Blue released her third single of 2021 called “IDGAF” on September 3, 2021, following “I Keep Trying” and “I Hate You”.
She signed to MGW Records this year. The song is her first single under her new label.
Label founder Scott Waldman said, “Grace is a force and hustles harder than most artists I've met. I am honored that she is on MGW Records and I can't wait for the world to hear 'IDGAF'. Play it loud.”
Her sound features melodies of anger and empowerment as well as vulnerable raw emotional lyrics, that speak of issues such as loneliness.
Grace Blue said “'IDGAF' was written about how low loneliness can bring you. It's about a time in my life that I preferred being involved with somebody just for the sake of having somebody and feeling something, even if that meant hurting myself.”
She continued, “So many people choose toxic friendships and relationships over being alone, but it's hard to admit since loneliness feels like such a taboo subject to share. That's why it was important for me to open up about it.”- source : Apple Music
