Bishop Briggs Releases New Song “WALK YOU HOME”
- Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Bishop Briggs released a new song “WALK YOU HOME” on October 30th.
The song follows up previous single “HIGHER”, as well as a cover of Queen's "We Will Rock You" for the cosmetic brand Make Up For Ever's Rouge Artist campaign.
She co-wrote the song with frequent collaborator K.Flay.
“I think there can be a thick layer of denial when we end a relationship in our life. We feel that this ending will cause that person to vanish from our memory. We pray their name won’t live in our minds as we close our eyes to sleep,” Bishop Briggs said of the song. “But, the reality is it can take a long time to release the energy you set aside for this person," she adds. "The anxiety-fueled care that led me to losing myself in it all still creeps in when I least expect it, even when I'm writing a song like this one.”
The music video was released on November 1st. She shared on YouTube channel, “To not be wearing any makeup in this video perfectly represents the rawness that I felt in writing this! Its so hard for me to undo the deep care I have for this particular person. Thank you for being kind and letting me share this with you. I love you all.”
