Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Maisie Peters Drops New Music Video for “Maybe Don't” featuring JP Saxe
British singer-songwriter Maisie Peters teamed up with Canadian singer-songwriter JP Saxe to release a new song “Maybe Don't” on September 25th.
The pair dropped a new music video for the song on October 9th.
This marks the first collaboration between Maisie Peters and JP Saxe. Maisie Peters shared, “we wrote maybe don’t together on a rainy day in london. i’ve been a fan of jp’s since i heard the few things in 2018, i wish i wrote every lyric he has ever written, and it’s so cool that we have a song together. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
The video was directed by Alex Nicholson, featuring mirroring performances from Maisie Peters and JP Saxe, captured in Margate, UK, and Los Angeles, CA respectively.
For JP Saxe, this is the second collaboration of 2020 following Lennon Stella's "Golf on TV".
The song follows up “Sad Girl Summer” release back in July. It was written by Joe Rubel, JP Saxe and Maisie Peters. Produced by AFTERHRS and Joe Rubel.
