Cam Releases New Music Video for “Classic”
American country music singer-songwriter Cam has dropped a new music video for “Classic” directed by Taylor Fauntleroy.
The song was released back in July from her upcoming third studio album “The Otherside”, which is set to be released on October 30th.
It was co-written and produced by Jack Antonoff.
Cam said of the song, “Jack and I caught something in the air that day and ran with it. The track is so much fun. Jangling guitars, claps, it feels like when a group of familiar people get back together over the holidays, clanking around after dinner with too much wine, and amidst the chatter and laughter and closeness they are really telling each other, deep down, just how much they love each other.”
The video was shot at White Limozeen in Nashville. Inspired by the glitz and glamour of 1950's Hollywood.
“I seem to be looking back to the past a lot these days. Untangling the truth from the stories in my nostalgia and my identity," says Cam. "You gotta know where you come from to know where you are going, right? So this video is my own vintage feminine exercise. I got to dress up as Marilyn Monroe, Lucille Ball, Audrey Hepburn and dance around the bright pinks and retro vibe of the White Limozeen.”- source : Broad Way World
