The Knocks & MUNA Team Up for New Song “Bodies”
- American electronic duo The Knocks and electronic pop band MUNA teamed up for a new song “Bodies”.
It is the first collaboration between The Knocks and MUNA. The track was written by Ben Ruttner, James Patterson, Styalz Fuego, Katie Gavin, Josette Maskin and Naomi McPherson.
“It was a great experience teaming up with MUNA to create ‘Bodies,’ We wanted to capture a vibe that was nostalgic,” The Knocks said in a statement. “Bodies” was born of nostalgia... for house parties, for school and summer vacations, for being young. Almost instantly, it took on another meaning. It became about missing….well, everything. Normal life had been suspended. We hit pause. We began to miss the unceasing togetherness of touring. We missed one another. The song became about the helplessness and loneliness inherent to this peculiar, terrifying era... but music also has this unique ability to transport you through time. With "Bodies", we want to bring you back to those simpler and happier moments. We hope that everyone listening can get a little relief and a feeling of positivity while we weather this shit show together and we can't wait to be with our friends, family, and you again!”
