GARZI Releases New EP “STUCK IN THE MIDDLE”: Streaming
- Miami-based singer-songwriter GARZI released his new EP “STUCK IN THE MIDDLE” on May 8th.
The EP was co-produced by John Feldmann of Goldfinger, and Travis Barker of Blink-182. Recorded at John Feldmann’s home studio in California.
He collaborated with his childhood idol Travis Barker on “SICK OF ME” of the EP. “It was crazy to have Travis drumming on the song because Blink 182 has been one of my inspirations since childhood… We figured out a really dope sound. I have faith that the music is really sick,” GARZI said. “I just want people to relate and know they aren’t alone. I was in a weird place with myself where I had been making questionable choices and in complicated relationships, so the song just took on a form of its own.”
The EP features hip-hop and alt-rock sound with his melodic emo roots like Blink-182, Linkin Park and YUNGBLUD.
GARZI said of the EP, “This tape is in an entirely different world than my last one, but that’s what makes creating music fun. I hope people can stop trying to classify music and just enjoy it and use these songs to get them through any tough situation they may be going through.”
- He told Alt Press what the meaning behind the EP title is, “In life, I feel like I’ve been in this weird transitory period where I’m not a huge star, but I’m also not a nobody. This is what I do to support myself. I don’t wanna do anything else. Sometimes I don’t know if I’ll make it all the way there. This is a way to remind myself not to be afraid and just keep pushing because things will work out, and it’s all about the music at the end of the day. If things don’t work out to the fullest, I hope people take something away from the music and are able to be inspired or get through tough times because of the music.”
