Halsey Premieres New Song “You should be sad”
American singer-songwriter Halsey premiered new song “You should be sad” on January 10th.
In the country-influenced track will appear on her upcoming third studio album “Manic”, which is out January 17th.
She tweeted, “The most petty and heartbreaking songs all come from country. I wrote YSBS on my living room floor on my guitar. Lots of time in Nashville too.”
The song is accompanied by the music video directed by Colin Tilley.
She wrote about the clip on Twitter, “Xtina, Gaga, Carrie, and of course Shania, this was one loaded with nods to badass idols of mine. Had the vision to do a “before he cheats” but instead about after he does haha.”
Also, Halsey announced her Manic World Tour, which kicks off at WiZink Center in Madrid on February 6 and wraps up at FivePoint Amphitheatre in Irvine, California on August 1st.
