  • Creature Comfort Releases New Song “Heartstrings”

  • Nashville-based alt-rock band Creature Comfort has released a new song “Heartstrings” with the accompanying music video.
The song will appear on their upcoming album, which will be released later this year. The music video was directed by Owen Jackson.
“I wrote ‘Heartstrings’ while staying at Navy Pier in Chicago. I’d just been through a pretty rough breakup, so I stayed at the pier for week—just writing music, drinking too much, and sleeping in too late,” The lead singer, Jessey Clark said of the song. “I had set out to write something about my ex moving away from Nashville, but once I finished it, I realized I’d actually written a song about my own fear of commitment.”
Creature Comfort was formed in 2012, consisting of Jessey Clark (Vocals, Guitar), Cole Bearden (Bass), Taylor Cole (Drums), Charlie Hickerson (Lead Guitar) and Alex Robinson (Acoustic, Piano, Aux).
The band released the debut EP “Fox Tale” in 2013 and the second EP “Echoes and Relics” in 2016.
