Twenty One Pilots Premieres New Song “The Cravin” on BBC Radio 1
American alt-rock duo Twenty One Pilots, consisting of Tyler Joseph (vocals/keyboards) and Josh Dun (drums), will release their upcoming seventh studio album “Clancy” this Friday (May 24th).
The album is their first LP in three years since the 2021 album “Scaled and Icy”, and is the final chapter in the long-running story that began on the 2015 album “Blurryface”.
From the album, the duo premiered the fourth and final single called “The Cravin” on BBC Radio 1's New Music Show with Jack Saunders.
The track was written by Tyler Joseph. Produced by Paul Meany, Spencer Stewart, and Tyler Joseph.
The accompanying music video was directed by Reel Bear Media.
The band lead singer Tyler Joseph told Jack Saunders about the song, “I wrote the song about my relationship with my wife but kind of tapped into earlier on in our relationship when I was trying to woo her. But it was interesting I wrote it at the kitchen table. You know, with a couple of our kids on either side of us kind of a crazy time to be thinking back to when we weren't sure if we were going to be a thing or not. And here what I was writing a song on the ukulele with two children eating their food on either side of me. So that's kind of where the song came about.”- source : BBC Radio 1
