  • Miki Berenyi Trio Premieres Debut Song “Vertigo” on BBC Radio 6

  • British singer-songwriter and guitarist Miki Berenyi's, who is better known as a member of British rock band Lush, new band Miki Berenyi Trio premiered a debut song “Vertigo” on BBC Radio 6 Music with Huw Stephens.

The band consists of Miki Berenyi (guitar/vocals), Kevin “Moose” McKillop (guitar), and Oliver Cherer (bass).
The song has been part of the band’s live set for over a year and is one of the first songs they wrote together.
It was written and produced by Miki Berenyi, Oliver Cherer, and Kevin "Moose" McKillop.
The accompanying music video was directed by Sébastien Faits-Divers, who filmed in the Consortium Museum (Contemporary Art Center) in Dijon, in one of the Isabella Ducrot exhibition rooms.

“‘Vertigo’ is about anxiety and the efforts to talk myself down from the precipice - the usual cheerful stuff,” Miki Berenyi said of the song. “It’s a challenge to not have a drummer, and to use more programming, but the essence of the music is still guitars and melody – as it always has been, particularly in mine and Moose’s bands.”
