Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Georgia Webster Releases New Song “Delusional”
Nashville-based singer-songwriter Georgia Webster released a new song “Delusional” along with a music video on March 8, 2024.
The song is the second single off of her upcoming third EP, following the release of “Attention” back in January.
The track was written by Austin Goodloe, Georgia Webster, Joybeth Taylor, and Lydia Vaughan. Produced by Austin Goodloe and King Henry.
Georgia Webster said of the song, “I wrote 'Delusional' about feeling crazy over a relationship and feeling like you're in denial. It's a feeling I think a lot of people can relate to and I hope this song connects with everyone and helps them cope in the way that it helped me when I wrote it!”
The accompanying video was directed by Luke Rogers.
Georgia Webster said, “One of my fav songs on this project and the craziest video i've ever done.. Luke Rogers and i got covered in sticky red icing for this.”
Director Luke Rogers said of the video, “This was my first time shooting on 16mm and it was quite the challenge but I'm over the moon with how it turned out. So proud of this one.”- The new EP is expected to be released this spring.
On the EP, she worked with producer King Henry, who is better known for working with American singer-songwriter Sasha Alex Sloan.
Georgia Webster told THE LINE of BEST FIT about the EP, “I had to go through that trial and error process to figure out what I wanted. I realise there were certain times when I should've said, 'I don't want this banjo here' and I didn't. Being part of the process and making myself heard is my favourite part of the whole thing. I'm so much more confident now to say if I don't like something.” -
