American singer-songwriter Adam Young, aka Owl City released a new song “Car Trouble” on March 1, 2024.
The song is the follow-up to a a cover of American rock band Augustana's “Boston” and taken from his upcoming deluxe edition of the seventh studio album “Coco Moon”, which is set to be released on March 22, 2024.
The track was written and produced by Owl City.
Owl City shared on social media, “Who knew a flat tire on a fishing trip would turn into the new single 'Car Trouble?'”
In rumors among his fans, the original version of the song is called “Floppy Fish”, which was posted by Owl City to Tumblr in 2014.
Because the opening melody and the first two lines 'I've been drivin' all afternoon / But I hate to say it, I won't be there soon” of the lyrics are the same as the demo version.
The deluxe edition comprises a 17-track, including the original 11 songs, two new songs “Boston” and “Car Trouble”, and 4 new versions such as “Adam, Check Please (Up North Version)”, “Under The Circus Lights (Live)”, “The Tornado (Instrumental)”, and “Dinosaur Park (Instrumental)”.- source : Apple Music
